Biography:

As a lifelong resident of South-Central Pennsylvania, Alina Kline has chosen to begin her law career in the community that has had a tremendous impact on her character, integrity and work ethic.

Alina went to Dover Area High School and graduated in 2002 near the top of her class. In order to prepare for the future as she strived to become an attorney, Alina was extremely active in high school extra-curricular activities, including honors society and mock trial teams. She also spent many hours during high school working at her parent’s local business earning her way through college.

After graduating from high school, Alina attended Messiah College and attained her B.S. in Political Science in 2006 with a 3.8 GPA. Alina continued to work through college, including a year long internship with the Pennsylvania Family Institute. There she created and wrote a weekly e-newsletter to distribute to its members, and also wrote an Op-Ed article about Intelligent Design and her hometown high school. The article was re-published in newspapers across the state. In addition to work, Alina spent two years playing for the Messiah College Women’s Field Hockey team, and remained active in her home church, teaching Sunday school and working in the children’s programs. As a senior at Messiah College, Alina was chosen as a Boyer Scholar for her academic and personal achievements.

After college, Alina was accepted to The Penn State Dickinson School of Law, but chose to take a year off from academia. During that time, she worked at a local construction business, helping to write bids and contracts for construction jobs. Alina started law school in the fall of 2007 and spent the next three years gaining experience and building relationships in South-Central Pennsylvania. Alina was again very involved in extra-curricular activities, in her church, and in her community. She was on the executive board of her school’s Women’s Law Caucus, and helped rebuild the program to a thriving and effective group on campus. In her last year of law school, Alina worked in her school’s Civil Rights Appellate Clinic, where she worked on several notable briefs and writs of certiorari that were filed in the United States Supreme Court. Alina was also a member of Dickinson’s trial team for the American Association of Justice trial competition, gaining valuable courtroom experience.

During law school and after graduation, Alina was employed with a local firm in Camp Hill. Her casework was mainly focused on civil rights litigation and personal injury cases. But she was able to learn various areas of law in her short time there.

Alina has recently joined the firm Stone, Duncan & Associates, and is excited to work at a firm where clients are the priority and helping people is a mission.
